HP Laptop Computer Battery Troubleshooting
Faulty Laptop Power Supply Or AC Adapter
It’s extremely difficult to figure out the issue with your notebook PC by yourself. Please don’t waste time and let’s look at some of the more frequent problems that arise with HP 807957-001 laptop batteries.
The first thing you should do is to check your electrical supply as well as the HP laptop AC adapter. Be sure your HP laptop computer is equipped with the original adapter included with it.
Plug your AC power adapter into a functional outlet. Not via a surge protector or power strip or another outlet.
After that, disconnect the adapter to the computer and remove the HP HS04 battery from the laptop, reconnect the adapter into the charger port, then restart your laptop. If your laptop is still working normally, do not test your battery itself.
Check the LED illuminator located on the button for power or in your laptop. If it’s not on, continue to check for the AC adapter. Check to see if the connector connecting the charging port to the cord’s connector is secure and secure. If you attempt to move it and it is loose, the port for your laptop charger could be damaged. If this is the case, you should bring your notebook PC in for service.
If the illuminator of the AC adapter isn’t working when you plug it into an energy outlet that works or if it is showing indications of damage to the cord or power brick, you may need to replace one new spare laptop battery.
