Important notice on the batteries for Hitachi DS 14DVF3 cordless power tools
Please remember always use one of BattAussie designated premium quality replacement cordless drill batteries. We can guarantee the safety and performance of your cordless power tool when used with Hitachi DS 14DVF3 electric tool batteries designated by us, or when the battery is disassembled and modified (such as disassembly and replacement of cells or other internal parts).
Maintenance of Hitachi power tool motor – The motor unit winding is the very “heart” of the powertools. Exercise due care to ensure the winding does notbecome damaged and/or wet with oil or water.
Inspecting the Hitachi cordless tool – Since use of as dull tool will degrade effi ciency andcause possible motor malfunction, sharpen or replace the tool battery as soon as abrasion is noted.
Make sure that the battery is fully charged when stored for a long period (3 months or more). The Hitachi EB1414S drill battery with smaller capacity may not be able to be charged when used, if stored for a long period.
Cleaning on the power tools outside – When the driver drill is stained, wipe with a soft dry clothor a cloth moistened with soapy water. Please do not use the chloric solvents, gasoline or paint thinner, for they melt plastics.
